My role at Ohio State Lima is a very exciting one that keeps me involved with our students throughout the entire year. I oversee off campus trips, contests on campus, intramural athletics, and then in the Spring I coach our Barons baseball team.
Some of my favorite, off campus trips, have included a trip to the Hocking Hills to go on the zip line tours and also of course the trip to Columbus for the chance to watch the Buckeyes in action on Homecoming Saturday! I have witnessed a lot of our students on these trips really opening up, making new friends, and finding yet another reason to love our great University.
Keeping things active on campus is something else I truly enjoy. Ranging from the intramural sports of Flag football, dodgeball, and basketball to other activities such as pumpkin carving contests, all are fun activities that our students enjoy.
In the later weeks of winter quarter and most of the spring quarter, my role shifts to coaching Barons baseball. Our athletic department has teams that compete in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference in the sports of Womens Volleyball, Mens & Womens Basketball, Golf, and Baseball. Our mascot on our campus is the Barons, and we compete against the other members of the ORCC as well as several other members of NCAA Division II, III, and members of the NAIA.
I am a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, my bachelors degree is from Central Michigan University, and I am currently working towards a masters degree from The Ohio State University. I live in Pandora, OH with my wife Sara, and our Miniature Dachshund Grace.
