February 04, 2015 - Peanut Butter Bash
We are kicking off Black History Month and celebrating agricultural chemist, George Washington Carver, who invented more than 300 uses of peanut butter. Stop by the game room for a variety of peanut butter treats and pick up some interesting facts regarding George Washington Carver. Please note that as this is a peanut butter themed event. NOTE: Those with severe food allergies may wish to avoid the area.

Strengths-based organizations celebrate and honor each person’s talents, and leverage them to build a better, more complete group. How strong is your student organization? How effective is its leadership team? The best teams get the job done by intentionally using each member’s strengths. StrengthsQuest supports student organizations to reach greater success by helping them create a team dynamic that welcomes, values, and leverages each member’s talents. StrengthsQuest offers a valuable tool to support student organization leaders in facilitating discussions about team strengths, the Team Talent Map. February 26, 2015 - The Price is Right
Passport to Lima is selling The Price is Right Live! On Stage tickets. Ohio State Lima students can purchase a ticket for $25. Limit one per student. The ticket gives you the opportunity to be an audience member. If a student would like to have the chance to be a contestant the student can arrive at the Civic and Convention Center as early as 4:30 PM, visit a kiosk and complete the application for a chance to be a contestant. There are a limited number of tickets! Student tickets can be purchased in the Student Services Center. Student must show a valid BuckID.
March 13, 2015 - Family Fun Night at the YMCA
Stay-cation over Spring Break! Join Student Activities for a night at the YMCA. Available activities include open swim, open gym, volleyball, wallyball, racquetball and two family fitness classes (6:45- 7:15 p.m. and 7:30-8:00 p.m.). Healthy snacks will also be provided. March 25, 2015 - Murder Mystery Dinner
We are throwing our own murder mystery party with the theme of Murder of a Millionaire; a will reading for the rich and greedy. Guests should arrive at the party in costume. Each guest receives a detailed character description in their invitation along with some background information on the party. The mystery will unfold depending on how you participate. Keep a watchful eye for the details. RSVP by March 10 in the Student Activities Office to participate. Hurry! Spots will fill up fast!
