Ohio State Lima comedy fit for the gods

The god of love loses his heart to the most beautiful girl in the world

The Ohio State University at Lima Department of Theatre presents Cupid and Psyche by Joseph Fisher at 8 p.m., Feb. 22-24 and 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, in the Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students, and $4 for seniors and children. For tickets or information, call the Box Office at (419) 995-8382.

The Joseph Fisher comedy is adapted from the ancient Greek fairytale. When the God of Love is sent by his mother to destroy the most beautiful woman in the world, he hits a snag when he finds himself falling in love with her.

Cupid and Psyche is directed by Dr. Joe Brandesky, professor of Theatre. Light design is by Brad Steinmetz, assistant professor of Theatre. Costume design is by Loo Brandesky.
