Media Alert: Rapid headlines Springfest on the Quad Singer-songwriter Annie Rapid will perform live on the Quad of the shared campus of The Ohio State University at Lima and James A. Rhodes State College as part of the Performing Arts and Lecture Series at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2006. The performance is free and open to the public. Rapid has toured across the country non-stop performing her original luminous folk-pop songs for nearly a decade. Her debut CD “Rose and Ash” became the 55th most played CD on singer songwriter radio for 1998. Also, Rapid was nominated for a Grammy-related award for Best Unsigned Artist.
