Ohio State Lima welcomes Andy Geiger to scholarship event

Spring for Scholarships will bring more scholarships to Ohio State Lima students

The Ohio State University at Lima will hold its first annual Spring For Scholarships Dinner and Auction at 5:30 p.m., Tues., May 11, 2004, at the Shawnee Country Club. The guest speaker is Ohio State Athletic Director Andy Geiger.

In addition to Geiger’s presentation, silent and live auctions are planned. Auction items include two tickets to the 2004 Ohio State/Michigan game, a variety of Buckeye memorabilia, jewelry, and special gifts from other local Buckeye fans.

More than 150 people are already scheduled to attend. All proceeds will go to fund a new scholarship for Ohio State Lima students.

Cost to attend is $35 for the dinner, program and auction.
