Well-known jazz pianist and composer in Lima for Performing Arts series

Internationally known jazz pianist and composer Joel Forrester will perform at noon, Monday, April 14, 2003, in Reed Hall 160 as part of the Performing Arts and Lecture Series sponsored by The Ohio State University at Lima and James A. Rhodes State College.

Forrester has been described as an “undiscovered national treasure.” Millions listen every day to his theme for Fresh Air with Terry Gross on National Public Radio.

Several other programs are planned for May as part of PALS. Cabaret Unlimited returns to campus at noon, Friday, May 2, 2003. This talented ensemble combines music, singing and narration to present popular musical revues of such favorites as Gershwin, Berlin, Porter and Gilbert & Sullivan.
