The Ohio State University at Lima has qualified as an authorized Prometric Testing Center. Services will be supplied primarily to the technology certification market. The Prometric Computer-Based Testing system automatically scores exams completed on a computer and provides score reports. Anyone can register to take an exam for CompTIA Certifications such as A+ and Network+, as well as exams for Cisco, CIW, Linux, Lotus, Microsoft, NEC, Novell, Sun Education, Symantec and many more.

“As part of our community outreach initiative, we have brought this service to the Lima area for those who need professional certification testing opportunities in the Information Technology arena,” said Rich Dempsey, Coordinator of Continuing Education.

Ohio State Lima offers IT boot camps in A+, Network+, Certified Cisco Network Associate, and other miscellaneous IT courses throughout the year. With the addition of the Prometric Testing Center, participants now can enjoy one-stop training and testing.
