Ohio State Lima Continuing Ed sponsors Administrative Professionals Day event
Keynote speaker to focus on ways to work hard and have fun
The Ohio State University at Lima’s Office of Continuing Education will hold its annual Administrative Professionals Day from 8:15-11:15 a.m., Wed., April 22, 2009, at the Holiday Inn Lima.
Walt Kinsey will share his expertise in time management and stress reduction in an interactive but relaxed environment with “Work Hard But Have Fun Along the Way!” His presentation will help participants focus on getting results at work and at home, with an emphasis on fun, of course.
Many may be familiar with Walt Kinsey through his years with Macy’s (formerly Lazarus) where he retired as Divisional Vice President and General Manager. Kinsey is currently Vice President of Advocacy, Patient Experience and Marketing at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He is also known for his community efforts and advocacy for breast cancer awareness and education through the Relay for Life, Portrait of Survivors, and Lima Memorial Health System’s Journey to Remember events.
Administrative Professionals Day is an annual event designed to recognize administrative professionals for their contributions to the workplace. Similar events will be taking place across the country.
The cost for the program is $35 and includes a breakfast buffet, the seminar and a chance at door prizes. Businesses and agencies sending three of more employees will receive a 10 percent discount.
For information or to register, call the Office of Continuing Education at (419) 995- 8863 or 1-888-OSU-OHIO, ext. 8863.
