The Buckeye Tailgate and Open House has hit capacity seating. 130 students and their families will visit campus from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in Science 100. Prospective Buckeyes will be able to sit on classes, meet current students and learn how they can Be A Buckeye in 2009.
The Staff Advisory Council is hosting a Beat Michigan Tailgate Party for staff, faculty and students from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Galvin Commons Area in the Galvin Basement.
The final school performances of the Theatre for Young Audiences’ The Red Fox and the Firebird will be held at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. in the Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts in Reed Hall. The cast will come out and greet the young theatergoers around 11:30 a.m. following the last show. Showgoers attending the Friday night public production of The Red Fox and the Firebird are invited to stay after the play with the cast for a “Give Michigan the (Fire) Bird” reception. The Red Fox and the Firebird begins at 7 p.m. and the reception should start no later than 8 p.m. Tickets are available from the Box Office at (419) 995-8382.
