Ohio State Lima Student Senate plans
Meet the Candidates event Oct. 7

The Ohio State University at Lima Student Senate will host a "Meet The Candidates" event on the campus Quad from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Tues., October 7, 2008. Students of the Lima Campus as well as community members are invited to come out to meet the candidates running for office in Allen County, talk with representatives running for state government, and visit with representatives of the 2008 presidential candidates.

The Ohio State Lima Student Senate is partnering with "Rock The Vote" to spread the word about the importance of voting, with a focus on learning about the candidates and making an informed vote.

Already confirmed for this event are state senator candidates Keith Faber, Jack Kaffenberger Sr., and Thomas Matthew as well as both Allen county sheriff candidates Sam Crish and Steve Hoverman.  Star 92.1 will be the DJ for the event.
