Ohio State Lima hosts Take Back the Night

The Office of Institutional Diversity at Ohio State Lima hosts Take Back the Night from 6-8 p.m., Wed., Oct. 9, 2013. The event, which brings awareness to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking on college campuses, begins in the Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts and continues at various locations around campus.

The opening ceremony features keynote speaker Lorraine Whoberry, who began the S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation in honor of her daughters Stacie and Kristie. For more information on Whoberry, go to staciefoundation.org. The event proceeds through various stations around campus, each one highlighting an avenue for awareness of violence

Crossroads Crisis Center, the Partnership for Violence Free Families and the AIDS Resource Center collaborated with Ohio State Lima’s Office of Institutional Diversity to sponsor this event.
