Media Alert: Gordon Gee to visit Ohio State Lima May 15

Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee will visit Ohio State Lima on Tues., May 15, 2012. While on campus, he will meet with faculty, staff, admitted students and current students throughout the day. The most video- and photographic events follow:

11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Lunch with Admitted Students and Parents in the Reed Hall Cafeteria. Hosted by the Admissions Office, high school students who have been admitted to Ohio State Lima for next fall will have the opportunity to meet their future University president.

12:15 – 12:40 p.m. Media time in Reed 160. Dr. Gee will be available to talk to members of the media.

12:45 – 1:30 p.m. Campus Tour beginning in Reed Hall. Dr. Gee will visit the set of the theatre department’s production of Company, the Lima Campus Library where students who participated in Undergraduate Research Forum will have their research on display and the Galvin Hall art studio. The tour will wrap up in the Galvin Commons where Ohio State Lima’s a cappella group, Carmony, will perform before Dr. Gee announces the results of the student senate race.
