Lima Campus students work for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief

The students of The Ohio State University at Lima and Rhodes State College are working together to raise funds for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross.

Members of the Psych Club, Campus Crusades for Christ, Japan Culture Club, Newman Student Outreach, Animal Welfare League, Grub Club, Buckeye Scholars, Campus Activities Board, Dark Sky Watchers, History Club, and the Stars and Stripes Forever Veterans Club are selling tickets for a drawing at 12:30 p.m., May 25, 2011, in the Galvin Commons. Two winners will receive a free weekend retreat at Susanna’s Guest House Bed and Breakfast, www.susannasguesthouse.com, on the Ohio River 20 minutes upstream from Cincinnati. The weekends were donated by the owner of the bed and breakfast, an Ohio State Lima alum, so all proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. They will be available from club members from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Tues., May 17-Fri., May 20, in the Galvin Lobby or anytime during business hours in the fourth floor faculty services office in Galvin Hall.  For information, contact Maryann Kromer at (419) 995-8654.
