Ohio State Lima honors Creative Writing Competition winners

The Ohio State University at Lima will recognize the winners of the 2007 Creative Writing Competition for Allen County High School Students at a ceremony at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in Reed Hall 160.

A list of winners will be released following the event.

The competition includes categories for Freshman/Sophomore Fiction, Freshman/Sophomore Poetry, Junior/Senior Fiction and Junior/Senior Poetry. Students from Allen East, Apollo Career Center, Bath, Bluffton, Delphos Jefferson, Delphos St. John’s, Elida, Lima Central Catholic, Lima Senior, Perry, Shawnee, Spencerville and Temple Christian were eligible to enter the contest.

The Creative Writing Competition is sponsored by the Lima Breakfast Optimists and the Lima Noon Optimists.
