Ohio State Lima Kids’ College gets fit
Registration is now open for annual day camp
The Ohio State University at Lima’s Fifth Annual Kids' College day camp will be “Getting Fit” June 16-18, 2010. The camp is in session from 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The cost for all three days is $60. The fee includes workshop supplies, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, and a T-shirt.
This year's theme focuses on getting fit, in both the body and the mind. The workshops reflect the theme and offer hands-on activities that will engage students in a positive and educational experience. The camp offers workshops such as: Tai Chi, Self Defense, Dealing with the Tough Stuff, The Olympics, Stay Fit Foods, Calorie Counter, Iron Chef, Jazz It Up, and many more engaging workshops. Kids’ College is a fun, economical educational opportunity for students entering sixth, seventh or eighth grade in Autumn 2010.
