Tickets now available for Ohio State Lima’s A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum

Tickets are now available for The Ohio State University at Lima’s production of the Broadway musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Performances are at 8 p.m., Thurs., May 21; Fri., May 22; Sat., May 23; and 2 p.m., Sun., May 24, in the Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and children.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a non-stop laugh fest that combines situations from the time-tested, 2000 year old comedies of Plautus with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville. Join the Ohio State players for Broadway’s greatest farce and follow the struggles of the crafty slave Pseudolus as he works to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan Philia for his young master in exchange for his freedom. The book is by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
