William V. Ackerman

Dr. Ackerman serves a President of the Ohio State Lima Faculty Assembly. An Associate Professor of Geography, Dr. Ackerman is a graduate of the University of Wyoming and The Ohio State University. He is the recipient of the Alumni Distinguished Teaching Award and the Violet I. Meek Town and Gown Award. He is active in a number of community planning committees related to his research on crime, economic revitalization, and urban renewal strategies.

Dr. Ackerman was appointed to the Ohio State Lima Board of Trustees in 2006. He serves on the Academic Affairs and Student Life Committee.
