Ada, OH – The Barons and ONU were able to dodge the raindrops for a while, playing to an 11-11 tie, before losing the game to deteriating field conditions as the game was called after 5.5 innings of play. Because the Barons had scored 3 of their runs in the top half of the fifth inning and that inning was never completed the game must be ruled complete after five innings, thus an 11 – 8 loss by the Barons.

The Barons will continue their road trip this weekend as they travel to Zanesville on Saturday for an ORCC doubleheader, then to Marietta on Sunday for a non conference matchup. Both games are scheduled for a 1pm start.
