Newark, OH – On Sunday, February 17^th the Barons basketball season came to a close. It was definitely a season of ups and downs playing some of their best basketball against some of their best opponents. It was because of that fact there was hope for a run in the state tournament. However, the obstacle of trying to beat the Miami University at Hamilton for the 3^rd time this season was too great as the Barons fell 98 to 86 in the 2^nd round of the ORCC State Tournament.

The Barons finish the season with a 16 & 13 record. Great season Barons, we all look forward to another exciting season of Barons basketball in the 2008-09 season!
